WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MANWICH AND SLOPPY JOES?

Others may think that Manwich is the convenient option when making a sloppy joe. It's a ready-made sloppy joe sauce (but without the meat) in a can that you can easily get from the grocery store.

But, let's face it, canned foods are not really good for our bodies. Once you see the recipe below, you'll wish you'd known about this sooner. Sloppy joes are easy to make even without a can of Manwich.

ARE SLOPPY JOES HEALTHY?

Sloppy joes can be both high and low in nutrients. They are a good source of protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals. However, traditional versions of this dish lack vegetables which results in having a sloppy joe that's high in fat and sodium.

Luckily, this Weight Watchers Sloppy Joe recipe is healthier than most you will find. Make sure to get meat that's lean and don't forget to add some vegetables. Keep in mind, when it's homemade, you get to control how much sodium and sugar you put in.

It was a bit too sweet and not tangy enough for my taste. When I reheated my leftovers, I added a little apple cider vinegar and a little more Worcestershire sauce so that the tangy flavor took over the sweetness.
