Easy Fruit Dip

This recipe is for a very easy fruit dip.  It is hard to call something with only 3 ingredients a recipe…but I guess I will!

I love sweet fruit dips and used to always make a great dip that had marshmallow creme in it.  When I came across this recipe over at Craftaholics Anonymous I knew I needed to try it.

I decided to make this for an open house at my husband's office.  One thing about this recipe that I like so much more than the old recipe with the marshmallow creme…is that it doesn't call for marshmallow creme!  I don't like working with marshmallow creme because it is so sticky!!

I made this in my new Kitchenaid Mixer and the mixer did all the hard work for me.   🙂   Yes…my husband is still getting points for giving me that mixer for my 40th birthday!  Some people say that appliances aren't a romantic gift…but I think a Kitchenaid is exempt from that rule!

The only bad thing about this Easy Fruit Dip is that I couldn't stop eating it!  We had a lot of leftover fruit from the open house and I can honestly say that I ate more fruit that week than probably any week in my life!  It was such a good excuse to eat the dip!!

Next time I make this I will use low-fat cream cheese and fat-free Cool Whip so that I don't feel quite so bad about all those calories!
